There was drama on Monday morning in Birongo, Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County after a man of God was found in the act with a cow.
The pastor who is said to be a preacher at a local church in the village was found by the owner of the cow in the dawn, still seeming to be in the sinful act.
The owner, identified as Peter Mogaka narrated how he caught the pastor also identified as Peter Bwire.
"I woke up in the morning, as usual, I went to the cowshed to milk only to find Bwire in the shed doing the unbelievable, I was shocked and for a moment I thought was dreaming," revealed Mogaka.
Without hesitating, Mogaka called his wife who screamed alerting other members of the village who arrived in large numbers at the scene.
Trying to escape, Bwire was caught by the angry villagers who demanded answers for his shameful behavior and the answers he gave were shocking and unbelievable.
"I had sought the services from a witchdoctor to increase the number of participants coming to my church and he directed me to 'sleep' with a cow for my wishes to be granted," revealed tensed Bwire.
This was a shocking revelation which shocked the villagers after one of the resident claimed to have suspected Peter Bwire was not really a man of God.
"I had suspected Bwire and I think this is not the first time he is doing this because two weeks ago I caught him in my cow shed and he told me he had missed his way," Mary Kwamboka said.
Area assistant chief, Joseph Mogire has warned the residents to desist from such acts which will not be tolerated again.
"This kind of behavior is not going to be tolerated and Bwire will serve as an example, he will face the full wrath of the law," said Mogire.
